JANUARY
2013:
-Isabelle kicks off 2013 with rehearsals for Is It Already Dusk? – Joan Evans’ latest
physical theatre project, a collage of living images with text and music. “The
production is based on the life of Takashi Tanemori, who was eight-years old
when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. Tanemori lived on the streets of
post-war Japan before immigrating to the U.S. at age 18. He spent much of his
life seeking revenge against America until a spiritual awakening allowed him to
convert his revenge into forgiveness." Isabelle took part in the workshop
of Is It Already Dusk? in
January-February 2012, and is delighted to return to the ensemble this year to
continue exploring and developing the piece.
